BIOGRAPHY
Legal Experience
Ms. Goldstein has practiced in the area of matrimonial and family law since 1985. She has been an active trial attorney involved in the preparation and litigation of divorce cases involving complex financial matters as well as custody issues. Ms. Goldstein also has been appointed by the Courts to represent children in custody disputes.
Ms. Goldstein has been selected by her peers to be a member of the Leading Lawyers Network published by the Illinois Law Bulletin. Only the top 5% of matrimonial lawyers have been selected to be such a member. She has also been selected as one of the Top 50 Female attorneys by a blue ribbon panel nominating Super Lawyers in Illinois. She has also been named an Illinois Family Law Super Lawyer. She co-wrote Chapter 19, “Distinctions Between Marital and Non-Marital Property,” and Chapter 21, “Marital Property Valuation,” for the 1995 edition of the Illinois State Bar Family Law Handbook. Ms. Goldstein has lectured on various topics in the field of matrimonial law and has been a speaker for the Illinois Institute for Continuing Legal Education, National Divorce Skills Institute, the Lilac Tree and other continuing education programs.
